Job Description:<\/strong> We are seeking a skilled and reliable PRN (On-Call) Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience, possess reliable transportation, and demonstrate a willingness to pass a background check and drug test. Candidate should also understand that this position requires the ability to conduct post-accident drug test collections that are usually STAT! Being on-call for after-hour collections is a MUST!\u00a0<\/p>

Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>

  • Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture to collect blood specimens from patients for medical testing<\/li>
  • Perform DOT & Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing\u00a0<\/li>
  • Properly label and process specimens according to laboratory protocols<\/li>
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment<\/li>
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control procedures<\/li>
  • Communicate effectively with patients to ensure a positive experience<\/li>
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely specimen collection<\/li><\/ul>

    Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>

    • High school diploma or equivalent<\/li>
    • Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience<\/li>
    • Certification in phlebotomy preferred<\/li>
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation<\/li>
    • Ability to pass a background check and drug test<\/li>
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities<\/li>
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team<\/li>
    • Flexibility to work on-call hours as needed<\/li>
    • DOT Drug testing training is included upon hiring, if needed<\/li><\/ul>
